MAASTRICHT, THE NETHERLANDS

Maastricht University showed the full exhibition from March 1 until March 15, 2019, and extended it with two portraits of some of UM’s own women in mathematics. In addition, artist Jules Sinsel installs a custom-made, math-inspired 3D art object exploring the appeal of symmetry, shapes and patterns recurring in science and nature. Special celebrations took place on March 14: both International Pi Day and UM Diversity Day.
