Entering the field of mathematics can be tough, and women often encounter specific obstacles. The exhibition offers a glimpse into the world of mathematics through photographs (by Noel Tovia Matoff) and excerpts from 34 women mathematicians from around the world. This website provides a platform for contact, exchange and mutual assistance.

The website for the various locations (VENUES) will be updated with a programme before the opening date. We will also continue placing feedback, pictures and extra resources afterwards

 

What's on

The name of the exhibition has changed slightly to Women in Mathematics from around the world. A galley of portraits, as women mathematicians outside Europe are now also presented.The exhibition now introduces 34 female mathematicians worldwide, and and now is joined by 10 more women scientists from Japan, Costa Rica and India.

The catalog with 20 European mathematicians and detailed interviews and visual material is published. The former catalogue with 13 mathematicians is also still available here. This version also exists in Serbian language.
