The opening ceremony was a part of the program of a Round Table "Modern woman - a factor in science, business and society". It is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Burgas, and the Regional Academic Center - Burgas. Issues related to the problems of women in science, business, public life and the challenges of the future were discussed during the meeting.

Prof. Sevdalina Turmanova, coordinator of the Regional Academic Center – Burgas,  talked about the modern woman as an active participant in the dynamic life and the formula for her success. She gave some facts about women from Burgas who are successful in various fields. Academician Stefan Vodenitcharov presented a lecture with title "The future we face."

The participated ladies were representatives of the business, academia and public life, among which was the honorary consul of Romania Eugenia Popescu. A special guest was the former president of the Bulgarian Acadtemy of Sciences Acad. Stefan Vodenitcharov.

The event was covered in the local press. From 14 to March 31 the exhibition is on display in the exhibition hall of the Regional Library "Peyo Yavorov".
