The exhibition was be shown for about two weeks in the new building of the Mathematical Seminar at Kiel University, an started on May 10, 2023.

The exhibition in Kiel was flanked by several events, starting with an opening ceremony on May 10. Besides an introduction to the exhibition there were talks by Dr. Nicola Oswald on gender aspects in mathematics and by Prof. Dr. Mareike Fischer as a part of the lecture series "Women in Mathematics".

In addition, we showed the film "Secrets of the Surface: The Mathematical Vision of Maryam Mirzakhani" on May 12 (which is Maryam Mirzakhani's birthday) and May 17. Lastly, we had the opportunity to meet the curators Sylvie Paycha and Noel Matoff on May 19. In an interview via Zoom they told us about the background and their experiences with their work.
