During the maths week and « le mois des femmes » in Université de Montpellier, we organized two days about female PhD students in probabilities.
Female PhD students in probabilities :
Our aim is to give some visibility to female PhD students, about subjects where the under-representation of women is important, especially in probabilities which is our own field of research. The speakers (all women) are :

Presentation about sexism and gender inequalities in science, given by Pascale Perrin, (academic teacher/researcher in Biology, FdS de l’UM / MIVEGEC-IRD), « les femmes en sciences… ça bouge !». Then, we will organize a meeting with students about academic studies with female PhD students, about there difficulties and how they reacted.
