The opening ceremony was a part of Mathematics Day in Ruse, organized by Ruse University and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. This event was held at the University of Ruse. In the beginningit started with a briefing of the Rector of the university and representatives of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences with journalists from local press. The opening of the Mathematics Day brought greetings from the governor of Ruse region Stefko Borudgiev, Rector of the University of Rouse Prof. Velizara Pencheva, Prof. Dimiter Dimitrov from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
