UDER, GERMANY

The exhibition was shown during a Conference on Mathematics/Computer Science of the Cusanuswerk, which was themed around 'Women in Mathematics and Computer Science'. The conference was scheduled from May 17th to May 21st, 2023, and was held at the 'Bildungs- und Ferienstätte Eichsfeld‘ in Uder. Around 30 former and current scholarship holders of the Cusanuswerk participated. The Cusanuswerk is one of the thirteen German sponsorship organizations funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research for the promotion of gifted students.

Besides an introduction to the exhibition by Prof. Dr. Silvie Paycha on May 18, 2023, there were lectures on the following topics and more: History: Women in Mathematics and Computer Science and their Contributions, Robust Optimization, Tropical Geometry, Women in Insurance, IT and Management, Research and Family, Career Tips and many impressive biographies of female role models.
