The mathematics Library Les Cézeaux (University Blaise Pascal in Clermont- Ferrand) presents the exhibition "Women in mathematics throughout Europe, a gallery of portraits".

A series of illustrated panels gives the visitor the opportunity to get acquainted with thirteen mathematicians and their singular trajectories.
The programme will consist of various videos around women in mathematics and Sylvie Paycha, curator of the exhibition will give a short talk, after which Noel Matoff will share her experience with the public as photographer of the project.

A place of one's own in mathematics: It remains nowadays difficult  for a woman to find a place in the world of mathematics. Inspired by Virginia Wolf who claimed the right for a room of own's one, we will analyse some of the obstacles a female mathematician can meet on her search for a "place of one's own".
