Exhibition opening: April 10, 2025
The official opening of the exhibition was held on April 10th at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science in Palazzo delle Scienze in Cagliari. On this occasion, Professor Sara Azzali, presented the project that led to the creation of this exhibition, a student contest about women in maths has been launched and all the visitors had opportunity to visit the exhibition, letting themselves be inspired by the stories of the women mathematicians in the panels. The exhibition has been hosted in the Palazzo delle Scienze from April 10 to May 23. During this period, the researchers of the department of Mathematics and Computer Science offer guided tour to the exhibition for groups of at most 20 people while the free individual visit are always possible from Monday to Friday (9:00 -19:00).

Celebrating Women in Maths @UniCA, 12 May 2025
On the occasion of the International Day of Women in Mathematics, the Degree Course in Mathematics of the University of Cagliari, in collaboration with PLS-Matematica, proposed for May 12, 2025 at the Palazzo delle Scienze an afternoon entirely dedicated to women mathematicians. The event was mainly aimed at students and colleagues of Mathematics but was open to anyone interested. During the afternoon it was still be possible to visit the exhibition “Women in Mathematics from around the world. A gallery of portraits.” hosted at the Palazzo delle Scienze since April 10.
